I have fine hair and have tried MANY products to give lift at the roots that doesn't create a ton of static in my hair, especially now when the air is dry and cold here in Alberta. Having said that, I normally stay away from any products that contain a lot of alcohol as that always makes the static much worse. This product lists the first ingredient as SDAG-3 Ethyl Alcohol (Corn) which is denatured ethyl alcohol, a drying alcohol. On my first use I used it very sparingly only on the roots at the crown. I also used the Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner for Fine Hair from Tosca. Well, I didn't get a ton of static which surprised me, but I also did not use very much so I only got a small amount of lift at the roots. I am concerned if I use more it may start to dry out my scalp. It didn't make my roots stiff or sticky which was good. I will continue to experiment with this product, but hoping in the future they release a product without so much alcohol.
